Social Activties - Felicitation

Felicitation and Scholarships for School Students

Every year on the Republic Day and Independence Day we felicitate students from various schools in and around Goveli village who have excelled academically.

The felicitation ceremony includes distribution of certificates and trophies. Scholarships are awarded to the needy students.

The felicitation acts as a motivator to them and encourages them and other students to do well in studies thereby enabling them to have a good future.

Maha Langar is organized for school students on Pran Pratistha divas (18th October), Basant Panchmi and Ashtami day of Navratri. Books, biscuits, sweets, pens and pencils are also distributed to school students on Ashtami.

Social Activties - Medical Camp

Medical Camp:

We organize a free medical camp every month on ‘Bada Guruwar’. It is conducted between 4pm to 5pm in Sevadham premises.

Dr. Vinod Chugh (Sevadhari), specialist in Homeopathy, attends to all patients on this day. This medical camp is conducted to help the elderly, children, women, local villagers and any person who wishes to get treated, so as to provide free medical facilities to them.

Apart from this, free medical camp is also conducted every quarter/six months where in specialists from respective fields provide specialized medical cover to all the people who visit.

The camp is of much help to the poor and needy, and also to those people who have not been for a medical check-up due to financial constraints.

We hope to reach out to these people on a regular basis by providing them a better quality of life and giving them hopes for the future.

Future Plans:

1. To start a school in near future

Pujya Papaji has a vision to start a full fledged school. To begin with, Pujya Papaji intends to start with a primary school. Scholarship facilities would also be provided to the needy students.

2. Home for the disabled/old people

Pujya Papaji has a plan to start a home for disabled and elderly people which could provide food, shelter, medical care and basic needs of life and at the same time allow them to live in peace.
